STUDY: STORE MILLIONS OF LOAN FILES
When a major, national bank needed a proper filing and
storage solution for 3,240,000 loan documents, they turned to
Jeter Systems.
STEP ONE: DEFINE ALL PROJECT
ELEMENTS
First, we met with the managers to define the type of documents,
number of files and space allowance for future incoming files.
Then, we met with the filing staff. At Jeter, we understand the
importance of working with the people who daily process the

forefront of developing the proper solution.
THE SOLUTION: JETER MOBILE SYSTEMS
With the use of Jeter high density mobile systems, we offered a storage
solution using only 19,000 square feet, with room to spare! Static
shelving just wasn’t an option, requiring approximately 30,600 square
feet to store 3,240,000 documents. And, four-drawer cabinets would have
been ridiculous, requiring almost double the space of static shelving.
THE RESULT: SPACE AND FILING EFFICIENCIES
All files are now easily accessible. The staff simply creates a 36"aisle
where and when they need it within the system. Carriages move
effortlessly, due to the high quality system design and proper gear
ratio, which was determined before installation. Coupled with the
correct terminal digit color-coding system, our customer will benefit
from this welldesigned Jeter installation for years to come.
